Becoming a homeopath

Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing, suitable for everyone, young and old, believed to work with the body’s own healing processes to bring health and well being.

Homeopathic practitioners focus on patients as individuals by treating their specific mental, physical and emotional symptoms to give long lasting benefits.

Studying homeopathy can be exciting and rewarding, contributing to personal as well as professional development.

There are a number of reasons why people decide to study to become homeopaths. You may have been inspired by the qualities and expertise of your own homeopath. You may have had homeopathic treatment which has changed your life, or know of someone else for whom homeopathy has made an enormous difference. You may be a parent who has prescribed first aid remedies for your own children, or a professional in another field interested in changing direction in your work life or extending your present career.

At The Society, we know the importance of a good course leading to a professional qualification. Our Education Department has for more than 15 years, worked with courses which provide education and training in becoming a homeopath.

Each course may offer a different approach and focus.  Some might be part of a validated degree programme and some offer qualifications that are recognised by other bodies such as professional organisations and registers.  All courses on our list will provide coverage of core content which reflects the Complementary and Natural Healthcare National Occupational Standards for Homeopathy .

If you are looking for a career change or an in-depth professional education in homeopathy, you will want to investigate the many courses available.  We are happy to recommend those courses which have satisfied The Society of Homeopaths’ education criteria.
